Beyond The Yellow Ribbon of Isanti County

Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is pleased to announce the 2020 Scholarship winners. Each winner will receive a $2500 scholarship to support their post-secondary education.

The winners are:
Megan Duff, Bethel University
Cassandra Galligan, Kansas State University
Riley Geyen-Helget, Monticello High School
Libby Voss, Ogilvie High School

These students were eligible for the scholarships because their parent is a veteran or military service member living in Isanti County or a member of one of the military units based at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Cambridge.

Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is proud to support our veterans, military service members and their families by providing these scholarships.

Many thanks to our generous community whose donations makes these scholarships possible.

Scholarships Available from Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon

Due to the generosity of the Isanti County community, Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon (ICBYR) will award up to four $2500 scholarships in April 2020. These scholarships are funded entirely from the proceeds of the ICBYR 2019 Golf Tournament.

The deadline for application is March 19, 2021 To obtain the application form visit

The ICBYR Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship winners based on meeting eligibility requirements and essay content.

The scholarships will be awarded at the Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Task Force meeting on April 15, 2021.

We encourage all who meet the eligibility requirements to apply.  Your goal may be trade school or college, full time or part time. We welcome applications from traditional and non-traditional students of all ages.
